Engines

Business → Engines (Translation engines).

An engine without credentials (an API key) runs as a mock — no paid calls happen by accident.

Engine fields:

  • Key — a unique code (fixed after creation);
  • Level — Economy, Quality or Baltic;
  • Mode — Real-time or Batch;
  • Enabled;
  • Available to plans (none ticked = all);
  • Options (JSON).

Test connection checks the key. Deleting an engine moves its companies to the mock.

Prices and usage

Business → Prices and usage (Translation prices).

  • Sale price = cost × (1 + markup).
  • Markup: company → plan → global. An empty plan field = global; an empty company field = plan.
  • Price table (costs) — changing a price adds a new row with a later Valid from date (history is kept).
  • A usage table per company and month: Costs, Sales, Margin.

Companies only see their sale price, never the cost or margin.

An engine without a price shows up in To-do.
