PIM Admin (operators)
The EcomCart operator workspace: imports, canon, companies, engines
PIM Admin โ the operator workspace
PIM Admin is the EcomCart operator workspace. It's where the shared catalogue (the canon), supplier imports, companies, plans and translation engines are maintained. This section is for EcomCart staff. If you're a store owner, you want the user guide. How it differs from the company app - PIM Admin has a separate address, reachable only from the EcomCart internal network (VPN). Only platform operators can sign in. - It uses an amber colour scheme so it isn't confused with the company app (blue). - By default you work with the canon โ the shared catalogue without any company's data. The header shows VPN and canon chips. - Company sections (Stores, Settings, API documentation) aren't in Admin โ they live in the company app. - To see a specific company's data, use View as company. Menu | Group | Sections | |---|---| | โ | To-do | | Input | Suppliers, Dedup | | Canon | Products, Categories, Properties, Options, Manufacturers, Convergence, Media | | Enrichment | Source suggestions, AI suggestions | | Translation | Overview, Lists, Review | | Business | Companies, Plans, Users, All data, Engines, Prices and usage | | bottom | System monitor, Audit log | โK / Ctrl+K โ search and commands, as in the company app.
To-do
To-do is the PIM Admin home page. The data refreshes every minute. Figures at the top import errors, source suggestions, outdated translations, Batch in progress and MT margin this month. Needs attention The list is sorted by severity. Each row leads to the page where you fix the problem. Errors: - import failed (the latest run of each feed in the last 24 h); - import stuck in running for more than 3 h; - rows skipped in the last import; - translation Batch failed (last 7 days). To decide: - source suggestions waiting for approval (per supplier); - translation Batches still processing; - convergence candidates; - duplicate clusters; - engines without a price. Other blocks - Imports in the last 24 h; - System โ queues, translation scan, media ingest, search engine, database; - Translation economics โ cost, price for companies and margin. Shortcuts J / K โ down / up the list, Enter โ open.

Companies โ which companies get new products added automatically. 7. Data file and field mapping โ which source field goes where. 8. Import options and Updating existing products โ incl. Open Canon โ Convergence. - Tabs: Open, Rejected, Approved. - Kinds: attribute or value. - The Similarity and Signals columns show why a candidate was found. Actions - View โ opens the attribute page with a preview; decide about merging there. - Reject โ they aren't the same thing. Nothing is merged automatically. An empty plan field = global; an empty company field = plan. - Price table (costs) โ changing a price adds a new row with a later Valid from date (history is kept). - A usage table per company and month: Costs, Sales, Margin.
