PIM Admin is the EcomCart operator workspace. It's where the shared catalogue (the canon), supplier imports, companies, plans and translation engines are maintained.
This section is for EcomCart staff. If you're a store owner, you want the user guide.
How it differs from the company app
- PIM Admin has a separate address, reachable only from the EcomCart internal network (VPN). Only platform operators can sign in.
- It uses an amber colour scheme so it isn't confused with the company app (blue).
- By default you work with the canon — the shared catalogue without any company's data. The header shows VPN and canon chips.
- Company sections (Stores, Settings, API documentation) aren't in Admin — they live in the company app.
- To see a specific company's data, use View as company.
