Open Products → Categories. This is the shared catalogue's category tree.
- Search with Search in name, path or code…;
- Expand all / Collapse all opens or closes all branches.
EcomCart maintains the category tree — you can't create or rename categories. If you need a new category, contact support.
Changing a product's category
- Open the product → Edit → the Categories section.
- Choose categories.
- Save.
Your choice is your change — it fully replaces the catalogue categories in your store, while staying the same for others.
Filtering products by category
In the product list use the + Category filter. It includes all subcategories.
