EcomCart PIM is a Product Information Management system. It keeps all product data in one place — names, descriptions, properties, images, prices, stock and translations — and sends it to your online stores.
How it works
- Suppliers send product data (XML, CSV, Excel or API). EcomCart imports and organises it.
- All imported products go into the shared catalogue — one organised catalogue used by every PIM customer.
- You choose which products to carry in your assortment. You can add your own texts, prices and translations — these are your changes, and only you see them.
- PIM checks whether a product is ready for stores (name, description and image in each language).
- PIM publishes ready products to your stores.

Most important to remember
- Your edits don't change the shared catalogue — they apply to your store only. More: Your changes and the shared catalogue.
- Machine translation never overwrites text written by a person.
